California International Business University offers an innovative Teaching English to Speakers of Other Languages (TESOL) certificate specifically created for individuals who want to develop their skills as English language instructors. This intensive program offers 100 hours of classroom instruction plus 50 hours of observed practical experience including working firsthand with students and seasoned teachers at area ESL schools.
The TESOL is appropriate for students with little or no teaching experience, as well as experienced teachers who wish to enhance their teaching skills and acquire a professional certification highly desired by prospective employers in business and institutions of higher learning.
Admission to the program requires an advanced level in English, although it is not necessary to have native ability.
