By offering a wide variety of student-centered services, we strive to make a difference in the quality of life for each of our students while they are in the United States. These services range from academics to social life and much more, so that our students get the best out of their CIBU experience and life in beautiful San Diego.
Student Services
Our caring staff specializes in assisting students with admissions, registration, academic counseling, library resources, tutorial services and community involvement. Dedicated CIBU staff members are also available to assist with each student’s integration into the San Diego community, its services, resources,
housing, transportation and attractions. For international students we also provide information relating to United States Citizenship and Immigration Services (USCIS) F-1 student visa requirements.
Career Services
Through the Career Development Center, we are committed to help CIBU students acquire the tools and best practices essential for employment in the American workplace and in the international career market. Integral to this effort is our assistance with placement in corporate internships, resume writing, interviewing techniques, networking, and developing professional presentation skills. CIBU Career Services also supports international students who are eligible for Optional Practical Training (OPT).
Student Activities
CIBU Student Activities Director works directly with students to research, plan, and lead a wide variety of educational, cultural, and recreational activities to take advantage of the many natural and tourist destinations in the California and the surrounding states. Each month, the Student Activities calendar is filled with activities such as surfing, hiking, go-carting, lectures and the theater. The Activities Director organizes and arranges special trips to major sporting events and concerts in Los Angeles, and of course, sightseeing tours to Hollywood and Las Vegas, to name a few.
